Privacy policy

This policy explains how SEOSID LLC ("SEOSID", "we"), 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, handles information in the SEOSID app at app.seosid.com, the SEOSID WordPress plugin and the SEOSID Shopify app. Questions: support@seosid.com.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), time zone, team members you invite, and your marketing email choice.
• Website and store data: the public pages of sites you add, and, when you connect WordPress or Shopify, page and product titles, descriptions, URLs, image addresses and ALT text, SEO fields and stock status, so we can audit them and apply the fixes you approve.
• Content you create: AI articles, images you upload for them (deleted from SEOSID once the article is published or discarded), keywords, settings and support messages.
• Billing data: your plan and payment status. Card and PayPal details are handled by Stripe, PayPal or Shopify; we never see or store them.
• Technical data: log entries needed for security and troubleshooting (for example IP address, browser, time of request).

Google user data (Google Search Console)

If you choose to connect Google Search Console, SEOSID asks Google for read-only access (webmasters.readonly) plus your Google account email, so you can see which Google searches show your site, track keyword positions and find pages to improve.

• What we access: the list of Search Console properties you can see, and search performance data for the property you pick (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, country and device).
• How we use it: only to show you these reports, track the keywords you choose and include the figures in reports you request. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train or improve AI models.
• Sharing: we do not share or transfer Google user data with anyone, except as needed to provide the features you use, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your notice. Search Console data is not sent to AI providers.
• Storage and protection: access tokens are encrypted in our database; data is stored on our servers and protected with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• Retention and deletion: click "Disconnect" on the Search Console page: we revoke our access, delete your tokens and delete the stored Search Console figures for that site straight away. They are also deleted when you remove the site or delete your account. You can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

SEOSID's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools

If you add a Bing Webmaster Tools API key, we store it encrypted and use it only to read your site's Bing search data and to submit your pages for crawling when you ask. Disconnecting deletes the key.

AI processing

To write articles, suggest titles, descriptions and ALT text, and draft answer-ready content, we send the relevant product or page content to our AI providers (Anthropic and, if enabled, OpenAI) under their business terms, which do not allow them to train models on this data. We never send passwords, payment details or Google user data.

Rank tracking and public data

On paid plans, for sites without Search Console, SEOSID checks public Google results pages for the keywords you choose through a data supplier (DataForSEO). Only the keyword and target location are sent. Free plans use only Search Console and Bing data.

Cookies

The app uses only essential cookies (to keep you signed in and protect forms). It does not use advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Service providers

Hosting (Hostinger), email delivery, payments (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify), AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) and SEO data (DataForSEO). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service to us.

Your choices and rights

• Download your data from Account > Export, and ask for deletion from Account > Delete. We delete accounts within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices).
• Disconnect Google, Bing, WordPress or Shopify at any time.
• Change marketing email choices in your account. Service emails (security, billing, reports you switched on) are sent as needed.
• Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to complain to a regulator. Contact us to use them.

Security

Encrypted connections, encrypted secrets, hashed passwords, two-factor sign-in for staff, role-based access and audit logs. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach affecting your data as the law requires.

Children

SEOSID is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
